Within a matter of a few days the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the first Vogue Cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann went onto become one of most coveted models of all time with her covers appearing in the top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann started modeling for Max Factor Revlon in Europe as well as Japan with Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two successful years.
